Keiko Ueno

I am pleased to share that I have been certified as a Board-Certified Specialist in Public Health by the Japan Public Health Association.
Public health is a discipline that approaches health from a population perspective, aiming to promote and protect health through prevention and improvements in social and environmental conditions. As part of the certification process, I participated in an interview, where I had the opportunity to discuss my current public health activities and future goals. It was a valuable occasion to reflect on my work and further clarify my direction.My research to date has focused on topics such as emergency medical systems, health disparities, and the relationship between social environments and health. I will continue to work toward generating evidence that can be translated into practice and contribute to both healthcare and society.
